Ceramic wall tiles called "tozzetti" in Sicily are special types of tiles of a slightly smaller size that lend themselves to being applied to the wall, with a stunning effect in terms of colour and design. In the home they are mainly found in the kitchen and bathroom, but are also widely used in hotel rooms and B&Bs, as well as in restaurants and other establishments that seek to decorate with originality, recalling the Sicilian style and displaying the craftsmanship typical of De Simone Pottery.
The tozzetti are made industrially: we decorate them by hand; the tiles, on the other hand, are produced and painted entirely by our craftsmen and artists but have a different thickness that makes them less suitable, for example, for use on the wall of the work area (sink, cooker, oven, etc.) in the kitchen.
